Metric is a modular candleholder made from automotive stock parts, connected entirely through M20 metric threads. Its simple forms invite quiet interaction—each unit can be stacked, extended, or reconfigured to create layered arrangements. A deep-drawn steel disc acts as a base and can be turned to sit flat for stability or flipped to introduce a gentle, balancing, spinning or rocking motion. Inspired by childhood moments spent shaping candle wax at the dinner table, Metric offers a more refined way to explore that same impulse to build and play. Available in raw, matte, or polished stainless steel, it brings a tactile and mechanical precision to the ritual of candlelight.
